Full Moon

White diamond strands link with her coal black flair,
Long and silky-fine, linking mind to spine.
She stands to descend into my lair
And I reach out to stroke her lightening shine.

To me she speaks in love-stricken tones
Suffocating, surrendering, her body falls trapped
By a true love blue that holds her prone
Within my heart tightly wrapped.

She is here…in my mind…in my dream.
She is here…in my arms…in my space.
She is gone…leaving only coals and diamonds to trace.
She is gone…promising our future extreme.

I reach out to touch the heavenly body she wears
On earth where she teases me with her love,
Forcing the eyes of my soul to conjointly stare,
Throughout all of eternity at my Full Moon above.
