Love pushes against the shores of my heart with undulating waves
Divided in perpendicular demarcations of wet hallucinations
That tell me you are there, but I cannot find proof
That such a creature with beauty like yours
Is real, but only soldered deep into the
Imagination of my mind that is
Always seeking to secure
You to my heart, but
There you stand
Always from
Me softly
Hidden.

It has been so, so long
Since I wrote to you,
And so, so long since you wrote to me.
I miss your little musical gifts.
The gift of your words is a melody to my Bleeding heart.
So if you think you could or should
Or held your hand up so that time might stop,
Then you’ll have a chance,
If you would or could,
To sing me good morning or good night.
For the tones you bestow bring laughter and light.
Haunt Of Thought
The haunt of reality
Leaves me broken
Upon the stirrings
From deep within the me,
And the fear of the drowning from
A potentially conscious thought,
Which is always coming,
Riding upon the waves
Of a waking,
Emergent,
Subconscious.
Hammurabi’s Reason
Out of the jar, out to be seen
No longer will beauty emit no etre’.
All who wish may be boastful
Of a craft, to weave in silver strands.
To forge in Lapis Lazuli silkened locks,
Blueaquatic eyes for Hammurabi to see!
Grass is Greener
grass is greener on the other side
when i stop to test the winds beside
the road I walk and feel
the knowledge one day her heart I’ll steal.
Girl In Red
Her smile is light from the sun,
So I dream her heart I have won.
I memorize her loving face,
Full of hope and celestial grace.
Today I see her dressed in red.
Inspired, I keep her in my bed
To gently, softly touch all of her
While in my arms she sweetly purrs.
Girl dressed in red makes me smile
To see at last angelic cherub from above,
To hear her sweetly purr a little while
Serves to teach such love is never done.
Giant Dwarf
Above calm gulf waters with heat fordone
Like a giant white dwarf, looms the sun.
I tempt the behemoth to fall on me!
But, the yellow glob hangs defiantly.
High above me, it mocks and seethes mysteriously.
No interstellar catastrophe here for me to see.
Yet, master of heat and light, it fumes triumphantly!
Fuel of Fear
In the shadows walks my perception…
Faithful friend to follow me so.
Yet, whenever to and fro I go,
The shadows fuel my apprehension.
Forever Two, Forever One
There is a flower which blooms
In a garden, separate, yet unified
With a billion molecules of nature
All awash in a universe of splendor
This flower stands alone, yet by her
Side stands another, which never leaves
But sways with the wind to tease
From heavenly time to time, inexorably
Their petals touch and brush
Together in harmonious rapture,
Soft kisses, fleeting time, then suddenly apart
They stand alone, but still together
Never separate, never together
Side by side in a sea of nature
Always one, as well as two
Forever two, forever one.
Forever Belong
He penned his note to the tune in his heart
Then quietly gathered his things to depart
From the one he had loved and wooed for so long
From the one he had vowed he would forever belong.
He slipped his note in the sweet dark night
Near the flickering ghost cast by a lamp’s broken light
To the one he had loved and wooed for so long
To the one he had vowed he would forever belong.
He stepped quickly and silently out of her life
Feeling the brokenness and pain strike like a knife
Because of the one he had loved and wooed for so long
Because of the one, he had vowed he would forever belong.
He started to hum the song that would always be theirs
Knowing it better to forget sad melodies too great to bear
Always remembering the one he had loved and wooed for so long
Always remembering the one, he had vowed to forever belong.
